I have started to gather images of doves, i have started to look at the whole anatomy of a dove. I have started to look at the wings and the features.

My next task is to model a dove, i will be doing some research into doves and the type of look that i am looking for. I know that i want my dove to look realistic in the type of look. I will be using the same type of typology as the owl that i have created.

Reflection

Overall i think last term went very well. I managed to find a new technique in modeling useing curves. It took me out of my comfort zone because i was not familiar with the technique. In my initial stage modeling i was not coming up with the right look that we wanted. But after doing research and listening more carefully to my work partners they seemed more pleased.
On this project i will be uv mapping my owl that i have modelled, and i will be texturing it as well. I have never uv mapped so i watched digital tutors. I came across a technique called automatic mapping. I found it difficult at first but i seemed to get the hang of it very quickly. I have started to test the technique out on half of the owls head already.
